Ms. Maruta heads the Administrative, Compliance and Operations department of the Tokyo office of Dalton Investments (Dalton Advisory KK).  Before joining Dalton Investments (and its predecessor) more than two decades ago, she built her career as an Assistant Manager of the Legal Department of Zurich Insurance and the Section Chief of General Administration of Japan Air Lines Co., Ltd.  Ms. Maruta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Laws from Waseda University in Japan.
