Belita Ong, Chairman of Dalton Investments, discusses recent moves in global interest rates and the strengthening dollar. Ong also highlights the record number of buybacks being announced in Japan, and the attractiveness of equity valuations there. She goes on to note that while Dalton remains underweight China, that the firm still sees selective investment opportunities in mid-size companies that are core to the technology supply chain.
