Mr. Shimizu is Director of Research for Dalton’s Tokyo research office, Dalton Advisory KK, and has more than 15 years of Asian investment and management experience.  Mr. Shimizu was previously a Senior Vice President at Jermyn Capital KK, where he built out their equity business and managed a Long/Short Equity Real Estate Fund.  He has also held positions at Asuka Asset Management, Moore Strategic Value Partners Japan, and Goldman Sachs Securities (Tokyo).

Mr. Shimizu holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a BSc in Economics from Keio University.
